1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and ChessReps LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("TrendHog", "we", "us"), and govern your use of the TrendHog website, product, and support. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the service, you accept these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how it is handled, and our Information Security Policy describes how the service is protected. Both are part of this agreement.
2. What TrendHog is
TrendHog is a research tool for TikTok Shop affiliates. It collects publicly observable activity and third-party market data, then presents it as a ranked feed of videos, products, and creators so you can decide what to make next. The service is informational: it does not run campaigns for you, does not transact on your behalf, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TikTok.
We add, change, and retire features as the product develops, and the data providers behind the feed may change. We aim to keep the service available continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted access.
3. Estimates, not guarantees
Sales figures, revenue, view counts, growth rates, commission rates, and rankings shown in TrendHog are estimates. They are derived from third-party data providers and from public platform signals, they are refreshed on a schedule rather than in real time, and they can be incomplete, stale, or wrong. Currency figures reflect the marketplace a listing was observed in and should not be summed or compared across currencies.
Nothing in TrendHog is a prediction of your results and nothing is financial, legal, or business advice. We make no representation that copying, adapting, or promoting any product, video, or creator surfaced by the service will produce views, sales, commission, or income. Verify anything you intend to rely on before you act on it.
Product listings may be delisted, videos may be removed, and creators may change their accounts at any time without notice to us.
4. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use TrendHog. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials and any connected authorizations secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at ethan@trendhog.io if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Accounts are for a single user. Sharing one login across a team, reselling access, or passing credentials to a third party is not permitted.
5. Plans, credits, and billing
Paid plans and any credit purchases are billed through Stripe, which processes payment details directly; TrendHog does not store complete payment card numbers. Prices, plan limits, and included features are those shown at the time of purchase.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Fees paid. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and credits have no cash value and are not redeemable outside the service.
- Changes. We may change pricing with notice before it applies to your next renewal. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility.
If a payment fails or an invoice goes unpaid, we may suspend paid features until the balance is settled.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-export, or systematically copy the service or its data, or use it to build or train a competing product or dataset.
- Access the service through automated means outside a documented interface, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, paywalls, or usage caps.
- Probe, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service or its infrastructure, or interfere with another user's access.
- Republish or resell TrendHog data as a standalone product, or represent our estimates as verified figures.
- Use the service to break the law, infringe someone's rights, or violate the terms of TikTok or any other platform you operate on.
7. Third-party platforms and content
The feed references content that belongs to its creators and merchants, and it may embed or link to material hosted by TikTok and other platforms. That content is theirs, not ours, and your use of it is governed by their rights and their platform's rules. We are not responsible for third-party sites, tools, or listings you reach through TrendHog.
Your use of TikTok, TikTok Shop, and any affiliate program remains subject to their own terms and policies. If you connect a TikTok Shop account, we use that authorization only for the features you asked for, as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can revoke it at any time.
If you believe material shown by the service infringes your rights, contact ethan@trendhog.io with enough detail to identify it and we will review it promptly.
8. Intellectual property
TrendHog, including its software, interface, rankings, methodology, and branding, remains the property of ChessReps LLC and its licensors. Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your own affiliate research. No other rights are granted.
Anything you submit to us — feedback, saved items, support messages — stays yours, but you grant us permission to use it to operate and improve the service.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using TrendHog and delete your account at any time; deleting your account removes its saved videos. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if your use threatens the service or another user, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law or by a provider we depend on. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice first.
The sections on estimates, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service and all data in it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or availability. You use the service, and act on what it shows you, at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessReps LLC will not be liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost sales, lost data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold ChessReps LLC harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms as TrendHog changes. Updates are published here with a revised effective date, and material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email. Continuing to use TrendHog after an update means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes we cannot resolve informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
